Glenn Irwin has been declared unfit for Qualifying

Whilst leading in Free Practice Three, Glenn Irwin crashed at Snetterton and was taken to the medical centre.

Glenn Irwin was having a strong start to his Saturday at Snetterton as he was leading the Free Practice Three session before crashing at Turn Nine.

The British Superbike Practice session was then red-flagged whilst the #2 was being assessed by the medical team.

It has now been confirmed in a statement from British Superbikes that the Hager PBM Ducati rider was transported to the medical centre after his crash.

Irwin underwent x-rays on his hip and right leg, but has been transported to the hospital for further assessments.

British Superbikes statement read: "Medical update: Glenn Irwin was taken to the circuit medical centre after a crash in Free Practice 3.

"Following x-rays on his hip and right leg at the circuit medical centre, where nothing was visible, he has been taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further scans and is unfit for Qualifying.

"Further updates will follow when available."

Irwin has been having a strong start to his 2025 British Superbike Championship. The 35-year-old sits second in the standings with four podium finishes to his name across the opening five races.
