Grip and spin lessons learned in testing for Linfoot

Honda Racing’s Dan Linfoot ended his four-day MCE British Superbike test at Monteblanco with a 20-lap race run and said he and team-mate Jason O’Halloran have learned a lot about the Fireblade’s grip/spin ratio.

"It has been a productive test, and although we lost some time on day three with the weather, we more than made up for it yesterday. It was a little bit cooler to begin with, but it soon warmed up and we did 104 laps which was an awesome way to end our first test,” said Linfoot.

“Our final day was our strongest of the test for both me and Jason and it is even better to know that we have another four days here next month. We ended with a 20-lap race run and the changes we have made to the chassis here definitely improved the grip here, but it has been good to learn to control the tyre spin and that will be beneficial when we are back in the UK."
