British 125GP star Luke Hedger has signed for the RDC/FPW 125cc team following a successful test at Silverstone last weekend and returns to the team with which he took the Thundersport GP3 Cup title in 2010.

Hedger bagged nine podiums in the British series last year and won the season opener at Brands Hatch and team boss Adrian Mason is delighted to work with his former rider again, saying: "With the two-stroke era coming to an end I am committed to putting a package together that can win the championship and in Luke I feel as though we have that. The test at Silverstone this weekend just clarified Luke’s ability."

Hedger added: "The test went really well and I am really happy to be back in the team where I rode to win the ThundersportGB 125 GP Cup Championship. This is going to be a really long winter as I am so looking forward to 2012."
