HM PLANT TO FIELD ALL-AUSTRALIAN SUPERBIKE TEAM?

HM Plant Honda look set to field an all-Australian squad in the 2009 British Superbike Championship with Josh Brookes probably partnering Glen Richards.

Brookes, who stood on the Supersport podium with the team at Brands Hatch last weekend, was on the team boss Neil Tuxworth's shopping list for next season and after his performance, rumour was rife in the paddock that he had put pen to paper.

His current team, Stiggy Honda, have just announced they will have Anthony West in their World Supersport squad for 2009, which only adds fuel to the fire.
It is known that Neil Hodgson will be returning to the AMA Championship next year, and the other rider who was hotly-tipped to go to the Louth-based squad was Gregorio Lavilla, the 2005 BSB winner.
