FFX Yamaha have split with their MCE British Superbike rider Ian Hutchinson ahead of this weekend’s Cadwell Park round.

Reasons behind the parting are not yet clear but the squad are looking to find a replacement in the premier class. FFX will continue work with Pirelli National Superstock 600 man Andy Reid in his quest for the title.

“It’s unfortunate that Ian and the team have had to part ways. We are making plans to return with a replacement rider and those negotiations are ongoing at the current time,” said a team spokesman this morning.
