Tommy Bridewell and Honda Racing UK finished the 2025 British Superbike Championship on the podium at Brands Hatch.
The 2025 season has been a tough season for the Honda Racing UK squad and for Tommy Bridewell, but at the final round of the season he was able to end the year on a high.
In the wet conditions in the final race at Brands Hatch, Bridewell was able to end the year in third place on the Honda CBR1000RR-R. This was the 2023 British Superbike Champions sixth trip to the podium in the 2025 season.
After fighting for the British Superbike title in 2024 with Honda Racing UK, the 2025 season was a step back for Bridewell as he went from three race wins and 16 further podiums last season, to one win and five further podiums this year.
"Tough race, for sure, tough season. I am very, very surprised we ended up fifth in the Championship," Bridewell told British Superbikes after the 2025 season.
"Because our inconsistency this season has been disappointing for sure, some weekends we are strong, some weekends we are not. It has been a hard, emotional, difficult year. But like I said to TNT Sports, next year I will come back stronger, and I think we will be in a good place.
"I want to thank Honda for the past two years, it has been a great experience, a great time, I have enjoyed it. To end the season with a podium is always nice, these guys were super strong out front.
"It took me a little bit to get a feel for the circuit, which is no excuse as it is the same for everyone. I was really weak in the last corner because I forgot they re-tarmacked it, so I thought it was the old tarmac, which was really slippy. Once I remembered about eight laps in that there was quite a lot of grip there, I was alright.
"Nice to finish the season on the podium, congrats to Kyle, going back-to-back in the Championship is no mean feet. Let’s see what next year brings."
Bridewell ended the 2025 British Superbike Championship in fifth place, but is yet to announce his plans for the 2026 season.
