British Superbikes will be shown on terrestrial television this year after bosses signed a deal with ITV earlier on today.
ITV4 will screen an hour-long programme on Saturday afternoons which will feature race action from the previous weekend and that will be repeated on ITV1 during the week. The shows will be fronted by James Haydon and will also be available on ITV Player.
Jonathan Palmer, CEO of MotorSport Vision, said: "This is great news for the fans and importantly the BSB sponsors and teams and reflects British Superbikes position against other motorsport series. This new ITV deal ensures that BSB remains on a free to air network, accessible to the largest possible audience."
British Superbikes will continue to be televised live on British Eurosport.
