Kawaskaki UK have rescued Metzeler National Superstock 600 rider Glenn Irwin from having to sit out the rest of the season and parked him in a new team using Gearlink-prepared machinery.
Irwin parted company with MWR Kawasaki last week despite winning the Snetterton race and now Team Green have stepped in and will run the youngster with experienced racing co-ordinator Harry Corbett (shush) keeping an eye on him.
“It was disappointing that Glenn had to temporarily bow out of the 2011 National Superstock600 Championship. Everyone concerned is delighted that he will now re-join on a machine he is familiar with and continue to challenge for race wins for the remainder of what looks to be a close fought season," said KMUK's Ross Burridge.
