Last year's British Supersport runner up Hudson Kennaugh has split with his Linxcel-Seton Yamaha team saying that he needs to be making a move into Superbikes.
The South African, who finished just behind Glen Richards in the 2008 championship, hasn't managed to re-create his form and hasn't troubled the podium at all this season.
"I would like to thank Phil Seton and the boys for the way they welcomed me into the team. I really appreciate all the work they have done but I need to get into Superbikes and the best time to start is now," said Kennaugh.
"Phil has worked really hard to give me a fast machine and we have achieved so much. It is a real credit to the team to see how they have stepped up from last year in the way they have."
