Ireland's Keith Farmer will start tomorrow's Metzeler National Superstock 1000 race from pole position after rain curtailed fast times in this afternoon's second qualifying session so the grid will be set from the first session times.
The Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki man is just a tenth ahead of Steve Brogan on the Buildbase BMW with Australian David Johnson putting his Carbontek BMW S1000RR on the outside of the front row as there are just three bike per line. The Adelaide man is only two one-hundredths slower than the Liverpudlian.
AP Kawasaki's Victor Cox heads row two and two-tenths off the pace with Jimmy Storrar, fresh from his TT debut, in fifth and series leader Jason O'Halloran in sixth. Josh Day occupies seventh, Jonathan Railton eighth and John McGuinness in ninth. Cody Nally, who has been drafted in to the CN Racing team this weekend, rounds out the top ten.
