Leon Haslam will remain with the Moto Rapido Ducati racing squad for the 2026 British Superbike Championship.
After moving to the Moto Rapido Ducati Racing squad for the 2025 British Superbike Championship, Leon Haslam has decided to remain with the Hampshire-based team for 2026.
The 2018 British Superbike Champion returned to winning ways with Moto Rapido this season as he claimed victory in Race Two at Oulton Park at the opening round of the season.
Since then, 'The Pocket Rocket' has remained a regular podium contender and established himself a title contender throughout the season.
"Obviously, I am super excited for next year and to be staying with the Moto Rapido team," Haslam said.
"It had been 18 years since I last rode a Ducati, and this year it has been amazing riding for Wilf. He has put together an absolutely fantastic bike and team out for me this year. It has been a bit of a learning process for me to understand the bike this year and find the base set-up, but as the last two rounds have proven, once we have found that, we have been the highest point’s scorer in the championship.
"We are so excited to extend this relationship and especially with the new bike that is coming from Ducati, there has been a lot of positivity about it. We have gathered a lot of information and experience this year, so from my side it is super exciting and I feel that together we can make that next step to make a proper challenge for the title in 2026."
Team Owner Steve Moore commented: "Leon has been a fantastic fit in our team in the first year. Taking the team to third in the championship standings, while we develop the bike for him has been very rewarding for us and our sponsors, so it was an easy decision to agree on the contract extension for 2026.
"With the 2026 V4R coming and a season of experience with Leon, I’m very much looking forward to next season in BSB."
