Lichfield's Gary Mason was back testing the Primo Kawasaki yesterday at Donington's official MCE British Superbike test and although he was just helping with development, he would like another run out on the bike before season end.
Standing in for the still-recovering James Hillier, Mason worked alongside Chris Walker on setup but the pair weren't going for outright laptimes at the Leicestershire track.
"It just feels so nice to get back out on a bike again. James couldn't make it here so I jumped at the chance to help the team with some more development and I think we have made some steps forward again as the ZX-10R is feeling better and better," said Mason, speaking to bikesportnews.com.
