More swingarm evaluations for Laverty at Donington test

Samsung Honda's Michael Laverty went through another swingarm evaluation during today's official MCE British Superbike test at Donington Park and now seems to have settled on the kit version.

Laverty has been working with three different units all season and was back-to-back testing the Honda kit version and another one which was a Ten Kate Racing item. Laverty was lapping in the 1'30.8s bracket at the Leicestershire track today.

"We've been trying to strike a balance between edge grip and grip under acceleration and I think the Honda kit swingarm is the one we will race with for the rest of the season," said Laverty, speaking to bikesportnews.com at Donington today.

"We looked at gearing today too as I haven't been using first gear for most of the year but you have to at this track with the two tight final corners. We haven't got it exactly perfect but it's pretty close."
