MV Agusta confirm switch to Superstock classes

MV Agusta UK and Robinsons of Rochdale have confirmed that although they will be in the British Superbike paddock this season, they have made the switch to National Superstock 1000 and 600, teaming up with Grant Racing.

Steve Rostron, General Sales Manager at Robinsons, says they are now looking forward to the start of the season, and have a few surprises in store. “We have looked at development on both bikes, and its only just coming through from the factory so we have made this decision to get the brand racing again and develop a superbike alongside.

“The factory are heavily involved now and they are also supporting the World Supersport class in World Superbikes, so we are finding it much easier to develop the bikes.

"We have signed two riders which will be announced at the Manchester bike show two weeks, and we are still currently looking for two others, so we are very pleased to bring the bike back to the British series for 2013 and 2014,” Rostron told bikesportnews.com.
