MWR Kawasaki pull out of competition for 2012

MWR Kawasaki will not take to the grid next season as scheduled after team boss Mark Webster had to prioritise his business commitments but he aims to be back racing in the BSB paddock in 2013.

Although the Cheshire-based squad won't run as a unit, they will be helping out a couple of young riders and will be in and around the paddock as a preparation for a full return to action the year after next.

"One of the biggest factors in running a team properly at this level is time, and with two businesses to oversee in Manchester while living over here, I was simply being pulled in too many directions and something had to give?," said Webster, speaking from his Northern Ireland home.

We had toyed with the idea of going down the stock 1000 route but in the end felt it was best to sit it out. It's a shame as the BSB series is going from strength to strength and to have been involved in what is almost certain to be the best season ever in the championship's history with the likes of the Assen round included would have been fantastic."
