Tyco Suzuki's Josh Brookes is preparing to try to emulate close friend Leon Camier and former team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari and take three wins from three starts at this weekend's Oulton Park British Superbike round.
The Aussie, who is second in the title standings after a race win at Thruxton, was in the Honda camp when the two men did the their respective triples and, after his confidence-boosting victory last time out, wants to add his name to the list.
"It seems like a long time since Thruxton with the two week break. We've had a decent start to the year and it's always less stressful having to wait between rounds after a win. It also makes life easier for everyone in the team, but we're all looking forward to Oulton this weekend," said the Bringelly man.
"The new GSX-R1000 worked really well for me at Thruxton and that makes the job a whole lot more enjoyable. I'm now looking forward to the three races this weekend. As much as we are there to score heavily in the points, I'd love to win all three races as only Kiyo and Camier have done it in the past. We'll have to wait and see."
