OULTON BSB: EXPECT MORE OF THE SAME, SAYS LINFOOT

NW200 Yamaha's Dan Linfoot has said fans can expect more of the same aggressive riding style that caused a few raised eyebrows during the Oulton Park British Supersport round last weekend.

The former 250GP rider put some hard passes on very experienced men in the rain-interrupted race but insists that it was all fair, including the incident with TAG Triumph's Paul Young going into Old Hall.

"That was 50/50 I reckon. Paul turned in on me a little bit and I think he was on dry tyres and was a bit offline. It was racing and I am a racer and I like getting stuck in there," said the youngster.

"It was aggressive but that's how it is and you can expect more of it. It's a hard class and there are some very fast guys out there so there isn't any time to hang about. I wanted to win but ended up in the gravel. The track was pretty dry out the back but when I came into Old Hall, it was wet and both tyres just went. I bruised my hip but I'm ok apart from that.

"Donington is my favourite track in the UK. I love it there so I will be expecting to do well. Both my old team-mates have won a race this year (Gino Rea and Pat McDougall) so I had better get on with it."
