Swan Yamaha's Tommy Hill is to find a way to improve his braking setup ahead of tomorrow's British Superbike final free practice and qualifying tomorrow after being pipped to top spot by American John Hopkins at Oulton.
The Lingfield man duked it out with the Samsung Suzuki man in both of today's free sessions and is only a matter of tenths in arrears but he says he needs to step up in order to bag pole position.
"I was quickest for most of the session this afternoon and just went to second in the final minutes so considering we are two races down at this track compared to everyone else I am quite happy," said Hill.
"We have been working hard with the base setting we had from earlier in the season and it was a good starting point and we have a few changes to make tomorrow to help us on the brakes. Everyone will be stepping it up tomorrow so we need to do the same so we can try and put the Swan Yamaha on the pole position."
