Gearlink Kawasaki’s Ben Wilson has pulled out of the two MCE British Superbike races at Oulton Park after experiencing bike set-up issues.

The team will now undertake a long testing programme before Cadwell in a few weeks time to figure out what the problems are with the bike. Contrary to rumours around the paddock, Wilson has not quit and is still part of the team.

“Michael (Di Bidaph, team owner) has said that the team wish to sort out everything as they don't believe that the results are justifying the effort that Ben and the team are putting in. There have been many posts and rumours that Ben has left the team, he has not and still remains an active part of the Gearlink Kawasaki team,” said a statement released from the Gearlink team.
