Scott Redding wants to be back on the British Superbike podium this weekend as he returns to Cadwell Park.
After completing a difficult weekend at Thruxton, Scott Redding heads to Cadwell Park, a circuit he has not ridden since his last time in British Superbikes.
The 2019 British Superbike Champion missed out on the podium last time out in Hampshire, and this weekend is targeting his first British Superbike podium at Cadwell Park after failing to secure one in 2019.
Redding knows that to reach his goals at Cadwell Park, he will have to work hard, but hopes that some steps that he and the Hager PBM Ducati team made at Thruxton may help him this weekend.
"Now to Cadwell Park, I’m quite excited actually," Redding said ahead of his return to Cadwell Park.
"It’s a circuit I haven’t podiumed at with BSB, so my goal is to try and get on the podium at Cadwell, as that would be a nice stepping stone.
"Another very British-style circuit, which I’m excited to go to, I’m going to have to work hard for sure there. Hopefully, we’ll have a bit more of a settled weekend.
"It's the second time working with my new crew, me understanding the bike a bit more and the set-up, and some things we did with the bike at Thruxton, could maybe help on the other circuits too.
"Cadwell was never an easy track for me because it’s so different to anything I’m used to. Obviously, I raced there in 2019 and I haven’t been back yet, so it’s not going to be easy to achieve my goals, but I think we can do a good job and Cadwell is always a great one for the fans so I look forward to it."
After participating in three race weekends across the 2025 British Superbike Championship, Scott Redding now stands 11th in the standings and is two points behind the top ten.
