Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki man Keith Farmer took third place in today's Metzeler National Superstock 1000 race and it was enough to wrap up the 2012 title as he has a 25-point lead over Jason O'Halloran.

Even if O'Halloran were to be victorious at the final race at Brands Hatch to level on points and race wins if the Clougher rider didn't finish, Farmer would still be champion due to the fact he has had one more second place than the little Australian. O'Halloran is secure in second place as Victor Cox is 26 points behind him.
