Snetterton BSB: Foray out with cracked vertebrae

Quattro Kawasaki's Freddy Foray has been forced to pull out of this weekend's Snetterton British Superbike round after it was discovered he has fractured his D11 vertebrae.

The likeable Frenchman was involved in a high-speed collision at Oulton Park last time out and although the fracture is very small, he has decided to give this weekend a miss and come back at Oulton Park.

After my accident Oulton Park, I returned to France to do additional tests because my back was still painful. Unfortunately, they have detected a fractured vertebra D11. I am fortunate that this fracture is small and without moving, but I still made the decision with my family, not to go to Snetterton," said Foray.

"I am extremely disappointed in this situation but it's risks and we must accept them to come back stronger. It is true that my current situation is not pleasing, but after Snetterton, we remain eight races, where I am, I hope 100% of my ability and therefore we can then work in good conditions to advance our bike and get good results. I want to thank Dr. Anthony, my Osteopath Tony Boy and my physiotherapist Bernard Achou for their support and my team and my surroundings."
