JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Leon Haslam has been declared fit to race in the MCE British Superbike double header at Snetterton.
He will take part in free practice one after visiting the circuit’s medical centre this morning. Haslam fractured vertebrae and suffered from concussion during the opening session at the last round of Knockhill, and could not get back on the bike for eight days due to concussion protocol.
Tyco BMW's Christian Iddon sustained a massive wound on his left arm during a big fall in the first free practice outing in Scotland. He had to miss both races in Fife as he had to undergo an operation. Initially he was passed fit by medical staff, but later decided that his injury was too severe to compete this weekend.
Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin is missing from the starting line up this weekend as he is still recovering from dislocating his shoulder and arm at Knockhill.
