Reigning British 125cc Champion Kyle Ryde has debuted his four-stroke Moto3 bike at Snetterton's British Superbike round.
The teenager is the only rider using a 250cc four-stroke in the Motostar class, previously known as the 125cc championship, and the bike has been built by Mark Woodage, a former MotoGP technician who runs MJW Specialists.
Ryde was half a second faster than Luke Hedger in the second free practice session this afternoon after using the first session to run the motor in. Fellow Red Bull Rookie Bradley Ray was third fastest with Ryan Watson and Catherine Green rounding up the top five.
