SNETTERTON BSB: TINMOUTH REVIEWS TT

Sorrymate.com Honda's Jenny Tinmouth returns to Snetterton this weekend to continue with her Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship after making history at the TT by becoming the fastest women around the famous road racing circuit.
Still grinning ear to ear Tinmouth said: “The TT was brilliant, it was what I expected and more.  The atmosphere, the crowd and everyone there was really friendly.  It was really good as before I started racing generally I rode on the road so to be allowed to race on the road was great.”
Talking about her results Tinmouth said: “I always set myself a pretty high target so if I am somewhere in the ball park I am happy.  My time was slower than what I set, but like I said I always set them really high.  I am really happy with it.  In the first week I was slow, but I knew that once I had sussed it out it would come together.”
“When I did my fastest lap of the weekend I didn’t realise.  I was originally aiming to go for it on the last lap of the last race, but it got red flagged.  On the lap it didn’t feel like I was trying, it’s all about momentum and keeping it pinned.”
Talking about the 37.73 mile Isle of Man circuit Tinmouth said: “My favourite part was all the sections through to Glen Helen, I like the fast corners and the places where you can keep it pinned.  I didn’t like the section from Ramsey Hairpin, the mountain section basically.  It is full of double or triple apexes, you have to figure out which ones to hit or not hit and they can be hard to see.”
Tinmouth aims to return to both the Supersport Championship and TT next year, but as usual it all depends on money and sponsorship.
