Snetterton BSB: ‘We’ve made a massive leap forward’ - Bridewell

Milwaukee Yamaha’s Tommy Bridewell goes into this weekend’s MCE British Superbike clash at Snetterton full of confidence after making a ‘massive leap forward’ with his R1 setup at Oulton Park last time out.

However, the strawberry blonde rider says he is not quite there yet with the bike but adds he is riding within his limits at the moment and not going banzai.

“I am massively looking forward to Snetterton. We are as ready as we can be after not riding for over five weeks, so we will need to start free practice by taking it as it comes and then go from there. I am looking to try and build on Oulton Park where we made a massive leap forward; we are not completely there yet, so if we keep working like we did at the last round, then it won’t take long,” said Bridewell.

“I am riding within my limits at the moment to find the last missing piece rather than going banzai. We have made big steps forward and if we can do that again then we will be bang on; if we had a fourth and fifth last time out and are still not quite there, then that shows what we can do once we have everything one hundred percent. I just can’t wait to get back out there.”
