Taylor returns to the Triumph Triple Challenge

Hornchurch based racer Ben Taylor will return to the Triumph Triple Challenge for the 2013 season. He will again ride for the Essex based M&B Motorsport team under the title of Devitt Insurance/North City Triumph.

"I'm really happy to be back in the Triumph Triple Challenge this season. I feel like I've adapted my riding style to suit the Triumph now and I'm ready to push for race wins. Its great to have Devitt Insurance & North City Triumph back with us again for this year and I'm sure I can put in a strong challenge for the TTC crown. Its a great series which always produces some close racing so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in," says Taylor.

A former Superteen, KTM Cup and Superstock 1000 competitor, this will be Taylor's third season in the TTC and he is confident that he can replicate some of the successes of locally based previous TTC entrants Tommy Dale and 2012 champion Rob Guiver. Having finished ninth overall in the series last year, Ben has his sights firmly set on the top step of the podium and a top-three championship position this time around.

Ben recently managed to get a sneak peek at the brand new 2013 Triumph Daytona 675-R model on which this year's TTC entrants will be competing and now can't wait to get his hands on his race bike.

"The new Triumph 675-R is very impressive and really is a top-spec bit of kit. The track focused upgrades over the standard model (Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, slipper clutch & quickshifter) should be of real benefit to us racers. Obviously its a different bike to the one that I've been racing in the series over the past couple of seasons but I'm confident that we will be able to find a good set-up pretty quickly and be at the sharp end of the series from the first round," he added.
