Banks Racing/Express Racewear’s Brian Clark looked to have a certain second place before it drastically changed to win following a last corner error by championship leader Martin Glossop of KRP/Bradley Smith Racing.
Clark who got his first win today since 2006 battled at the front with Glossop and Tim Hastings, team mate to Glossop for the majority of the race.  At the start of the race it was Lee Costello of Vent-Axia/www.sp125racing.com led into the first corner, but soon Glossop took the lead.
It was Glossop who held the lead for the last few laps of the race until he made a result changing error on the last lap, at the last corner before the start/finish straight.  The mistake sent Glossop over the stepped curb sending me straight across the track into the crash barriers, milliseconds away from a race win.
At the beginning of the race it was Hastings wasn’t far behind and soon moved up to second whilst closely being followed by Connor Behan SP125Express Forklifts, Clark and Rob Guiver of SP125/RG Racing on the charge.
In the first lap attack it was soon all change with Glossop still leading Hastings, Behan, Costello and Guiver.  As Clark was on the charge Costello went off track and regained in 11th place to eventually finish 10th.
It was on lap six that the front started to become a trio with Glossop, Hastings and Clark.  Paul Jordan of KRPBradley Smith Racing appeared for a while at the rear of the group, before dropping back, but defending his third place. 
Hastings stood on the podium twice as he took first in the Cup, followed by Adam Blacklock of Repli-cast UK who finished eighth overall and Deane Brown of Colin Appleyard/Macadam Racing in 16th rounded took the last step of the podium
