Tyco Suzuki's Alastair Seeley has again shown his wet weather form, taking top spot in this morning's sopping British Superbike final free practice session at Thruxton with team-mate Josh Brookes in second and Quattro Kawasaki's Gary Mason in third.
The diminutive Irishman topped Brookes from the number one spot halfway through the session and wasn't headed again but he was less than a tenth faster than the large-haired Bringelly man, going round in 1'22.742 with Mason only 0.135s in arrears.
PBM Kawasaki's Shane Byrne jumped up to fourth place late on, deposing the WFR Honda of James Westmoreland with Italian Alex Polita putting his Jentin Ducati in sixth, just ahead of reigning champion Tommy Hill. Alex Lowes is eighth with Jon Kirkham and yesterday's quickest man, Ian Lowry, completing the top ten.
