MWR Kawasaki’s Tim Hastings took the National Superstock 600 pole position with a lap time of 1’20.102 after today’s second qualifying session was declared wet and consequently no improvements were made.
In yesterday’s dry session it was South African born Scotsman Hastings 0.374 of a second ahead of AP Kawasaki’s Josh Wainwright and a further tenth ahead of Haribo Starmix’s Alex Olsen. Brands Hatch’s pole setter Johnny Blackshaw rounds out the front row with his lap time of 1’20.767 set with his last lap.
James Rose heads the second row after sneaking in front of team-mate Jake Dixon after the chequered flag had gone out. Tom Fisher is seventh and early pace setter Leon Jeacock slipped down to eighth.
Heading the third row is Vancraft Triumph’s Joe Collier who is still just 1.054 seconds adrift of Hastings pole time. Behind him is Appleyard/ Macadam rider Dan Kinloch who dropped down from sixth in the closing moments of the session. Rounding out the third row is Australian Ben Burke and two time British 125 Champion, James Lodge.
