Motorpoint Yamaha's James Westmoreland has said he is happy with his season so far but now needs to start converting his fast times during practice and qualifying into race results at this weekend's Thrxuton British Superbike round.
The young Yorkshireman has made it into the final part of qualifying at every race so far this year but has been beaten up by more experienced riders in the opening laps - something he intends to remedy in Hampshire.
"I’ve been very comfortable in the top ten times in qualifiers, just need to translate that to races. I know I can race with the best I’ve just got to get a good start and race against the right people," said Westmoreland.
"I’m really excited to get going, improve on Croft and move up the championship Training is going good on my bike as well and I think that helps a lot in getting me ready for the next challenge."
