Ryan Watson has split with his Appleyard Macadam Monster British Motostar team following last weekend's Donington Park round.

Watson and his family couldn't agree on a path forward after results had not been forthcoming. Much promise had been shown at the start of the year but they have gone their separate ways.

"Of course it is disappointing to part company at this late stage in the season and we have enjoyed working with and progressing Ryan but the team and his parents had conflicting ideas when it came to engine and chassis setup, therefore both parties felt it was best to amicably split," said team boss Robin Appleyard.
