WESTMORELAND GOES IT ALONE IN SUPERSPORT

Former Centurion Honda British Supersport rider James Westmoreland has decided to go it alone in 2009 and will be running an ex-Glen Richards Triumph Daytona 675 in 2009.

Westmoreland suffered a frustrating winter bur has now decided to take a fully hands-on approach for this season and has det up his team in just under a fortnight. JT Developments will look after the bikes and engine building.

"We have had a mountain of work to do in such a short period of time, but I am very happy to be running my own team. I know that the bike is fantastic, and I have every confidence in the people around me," said Westmoreland.

"To plan and put together your own team in a fortnight of the opening round requires a lot of dedication, commitment and loyal support from all team members. By no means are things going to be easy at Brands, but I am sure for race day we will be there or there abouts.

"I would just like to thank everyone that has made this possible, My family and friends, JT and Bruce at JT Developments, Beta Distribution, Floor and Wall Ltd, Easimix, RPS, Triumph World, Shark, TCX, King Dick Tools, Rock Oil, Knox, Jonny and Lenny, Simon and Dave Cross.

"Without your support this would not have been possible. After a frustrating preseason, it is now time to go racing and win some races."
