Dave Tyson's MV Agusta UK British Supersport team are set to sign a new rider next week in time for the Knockhill round.
The Hampshire based squad split with Joe Francis early on the season and have been looking for a suitable replacement since then.
"We've talked to a few riders in the intervening period since Joe walked out on the team mid race weekend. He is still contracted to the team but is not required to race. We hope to conclude his release shortly once he has adhered to the contract cancellation clause," Tyson toldb bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
"We should be in a position to sign the best person for the job by next week, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team and sponsors during this time, whilst I made a poor decision with the rider at the start of the season we will ensure we get the best man for the job so the bike and team can perform like we did last year with Jack Kennedy."
