Nestling in the Parco Acque Minerali, the circuit is close to the centre of this northern Italian town near Bologna and boasts one of the most challenging corners of any circuit in the world.
Named after the park in which the circuit sits, Acque Minerali starts with a 225kph (140mph) left-handed crest followed by a downhill approach into two dramatic right-handers, before a contrasting ascent that requires a challenging change of direction.
In this film, Honda World Superbike Team rider Jonathan Rea describes the optimum way to take Acque Minerali against an historical and contextual backdrop painted by Eurosport’s Jack Burnicle and Carlo Fiorani from Honda Motor Europe.
