Penrith chicken magnate Paul Bird has re-iterated his commitment to a two-man MotoGP team in 2013 even though his star rider Shane Byrne has elected to remain in BSB.
Bird is now looking for a British rider to partner likely Dorna-elected candidate Yonny Hernandez in the team but his main three options, Byrne, Sam Lowes and Tommy Hill have all ruled themselves out of the ride.
"We are committed to MotoGP and will be making an important announcement soon on our plans in that series and rest assured, I'll be even more focused on both my teams' successes than ever before," said Bird.
