PBM’s Michael Laverty will have a new electronics man in his corner for the Austin MotoGP round in the shape of ex-GSE Racing man Frankie Carchedi.
Carchedi is on loan to the squad while Leon Camier tries to finalise his deal with the Ioda team and he will work on Laverty’s electronic strategies at the American round.
“Electronics is really the area in which we need to work, so having someone of Frankie’s experience will help a lot. Qatar wasn’t a great weekend for us, I think it is a bit of a bogey track but Austin should be better,” said Laverty.
“I am hoping we can tag on to the back of the Production Honda boys like Aoyama and achieve a better result than I did last year, which was 16th. We need to be beating all the other former CRT bikes like the Avintia Kawasaki and Petrucci on the Ioda.”
