Sky Sports Italia has reported that Casey O'Gorman will compete in the Portuguese Grand Prix for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.
This weekend's Portuguese Grand Prix will see a grid shuffle in the Moto3 World Championship due to several injured riders in the series.
However, one of the more interesting shake-ups is reportedly happening at the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad. Moto3 rookie Guido Pini will remain on his side of the garage, but a different rider will appear on the other side.
Sky Sports Italia has reported that Irish rider Casey O'Gorman will compete in his third Grand Prix of the season, but this time for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP squad.
The 18-year-old has already competed in two Grand Prix race weekends this season as a replacement rider in the SIC58 Squadra Corse garage. Across these two Moto3 races, O'Gorman was able to score three points with a 13th-place finish at Balaton Park.
However, this time, O'Gorman will step into David Munoz's place, as he is still recovering after he fractured his left femur in an incident at the Indonesian Grand Prix.
The German team had been using Brian Uriate as their replacement rider at the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix, in which he scored seven points. But the Spaniard has been called upon by his 2026 Moto3 employers, Red Bull KTM Ajo, who will use him as a replacement rider for the injured Jose Antonio Rueda.
This weekend's Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimao will be O'Gorman's third Grand Prix entry of the season, and will continue to serve as practice ahead of his full-time Moto3 debut for SIC58 Squadra Corse in 2026.
