David Munoz will stay in the Moto3 Championship for the 2025 season with the Intact GP squad.
After three years in the BOE Motorsports squad, David Munoz will leave for the Intact GP Team in 2025. Munoz will slot into the German as the replacement for Collin Veijer, who is Moto2 bound.
The Spanish rider has seven Moto3 podiums in his career but is yet to win a race. After 11 Grand Prix weekends in 2024, Munoz is fifth in the Moto3 Championship, 34 points behind Veijer in fourth.
Munoz is still only 18 years old and is known for his aggressive riding style. The #44 will ride for Peter Oettl next year who could get the best out of the Spaniard.
David Munoz said: "I am very happy that I will be racing with Intact GP next year. It is the team that wanted me the most from the very beginning.
"I trust them completely because they have proven that they are one of the top teams that are constantly fighting for podium places and championships. I am sure that I can learn from such an experienced team and also develop myself as a championship contender."
Talking about the signing of Munoz, Oettl said: "I am very happy that we have David Muñoz in our team next season. He was our dream rider and our team was the first port of call for him too.
"David is still a very young rider, but has already shown his potential with several podium finishes. We want to build on this and support him as much as possible in his further development. I am optimistic that, together with our experienced team, he can take the final step to consistently fight for the podium. That is our common goal."
