Britain's Bradley Smith has finally made his MotoGP debut at Spain's Valencia circuit this morning, doing eight laps on wet tyres.

The Oxfordshire rider didn't make it on to the track yesterday but has got to grips with his satellite Monster Yamaha YZR-M1, putting in a best time of 1'48.249.
