Pramac Ducati's Hector 'The Caravan' Barbera will almost certainly miss next weekend's US MotoGP round at Laguna Seca after his breaking his leg in a 'training accident'.
The Spaniard will go under the knife today at Barcelona's Dexeus Institute to have the tibia and fibula fixed and then a recovery time can be estimated. For simple breaks, most riders would look to be back on a bike in a month, so Barbera may also miss Indianapolis. The team have not said whether they intend to replace their rider.
