'Huge talk in the paddock' places Jack Miller back in a factory MotoGP team

Gold & Goose

There have been recent suggestions that Jack Miller could move to the factory Yamaha MotoGP team for the 2026 season.

Talk at the Automotodrom Brno suggests that Jack Miller could be set for a move to the Monster Energy Yamaha team for the 2026 MotoGP season.

Ever since Prima Pramac Racing announced the signing of Toprak Razgatlioglu, Miller's future with the Italian team has been under threat.

It has been made clear that Miller and his current teammate, Miguel Oliveira, have been going head-to-head for the second Pramac seat for next year.

However, new reports suggest that neither rider will be with the team in 2026.

The latest talk on the rumour mill places Miller into the factory Yamaha team in place of the struggling Alex Rins, and Moto2 star, Diogo Moreira, in the Prima Pramac Racing squad instead of Oliveira.

"There is huge talk in the paddock that there might be two rookies at Pramac next year," said MotoGP.com reporter Jack Appleyard.

"Diogo Moreira showed why every MotoGP factory is interested. His talent is out of this world, there are still rough edges.

"There is talk of Diogo being in deep discussions with Pramac.

"Given the fact that Alex Rins had a disastrous German GP, he was 40 seconds off Marc Marquez and he hasn’t found any form of late, there is a possibility that Jack might move into Rins’ seat."

There have been World Superbike offers for Miller, but he has been clear throughout the year that he wants to remain in MotoGP.

"Miller has made it clear that his priority is to stay in MotoGP, even though there are World Superbikes rumours," MotoGP world feed commentator Louis Suddaby said.

Yamaha must act quickly if they want to move these latest pieces into place, as there have also been suggestions that LCR Honda is interested in Moreira.

"Honda, given they might miss out on Jorge Martin, have turned their attention to the Brazilian," Appleyard said.

"It is not guaranteed that we will see Jack [Miller] or Miguel [Oliveira] next year."
