Hungary will feature on the 2025 MotoGP and WorldSBK calendar

Balaton Park in Hungary will feature on the MotoGP and World Superbike calendar in 2025.

In 2025 a Hungarian Round will feature on both the MotoGP and World Superbike (WorldSBK) calendars. The Balaton Park circuit has been improvements to the circuit and the surrounding infrastructure to ensure that the circuit is suitable for World Championship racing.

Balaton Park will feature on the MotoGP calendar for the first time between the 22nd and the 24th of August. It will feature earlier in the WorldSBK season as it will take place between the 25th and the 27th of July.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports said: “We’re very happy to announce that Balaton Park will be on the 2025 calendar for MotoGP™ and WorldSBK. The circuit is in a spectacular location and will be a fantastic destination for fans to come and see the world’s most exciting sport in action.

"Work is underway to get the venue ready for its historic debut on the calendar, adding another chapter to Hungary’s history in motorcycle Grand Prix racing, and we’re very much looking forward to returning to a key market in central Europe.”
