Reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has denied he is in talks for a big money switch to Ducati in 2017 and will make a decision on his future in the next couple of weeks.
Lorenzo recieved a contract renewal at the start of the Qatar weekend but opted to wait on putting pen to paper after rival and team-mate Valentino Rossi signed his and The Doctor being in again for another two years was announced by Yamaha.
“I’ve always been in charge of my life, and only I will decide my future,” said the World Champion at a Porsche promotional event in Barcelona.
“At the moment I only have Yamaha’s offer on the table. Although strong brands talk to strong riders. I will make a decision in a few days, two or three weeks tops.”
