Britain's Jake Dixon had another difficult weekend at Jerez - a place which is fast becoming a bogey track for the Petronas Moto2 rider.
After performing well in free practice, Dixon didn't get a lap together in qualifying and then got shoved around at the beginning of the race, eventually crashing at turn six.
"It’s been difficult for the past two weeks. Jerez seems to be a track that I’m really not getting on with, even from testing," said Dixon.
"It’s not ideal as ultimately you need to be fast everywhere. In the race I got a good start off the line but then got boxed in going into Turn 1 and Turn 2.
"I was then pushed out in Turn 3, which lost me positions. I started to recover some of those positions but then going into Turn 6 I was a little off line and tucked the front of the bike.
"I felt like we could have had a good race, but because I crashed it means nothing. We’ll regroup and come back stronger in Brno."
