MotoGP Misano: Edwards to remain with Forward-NGM for 2013

Fan favourite Colin Edwards has today confirmed he will remain with the Forward-NGM MotoGP CRT team in 2013 but no decision has been made on whether the squad will run two bikes next year, what the machinery will be or who a potential team-mate might be.

It is fairly plain Edwards will not want to keep his current Suter-BMW, which he described as a 'piece of shit' at Indianapolis, and moves are being made to change away. An Aprilia ART looks favourite if there are enough available and the Texan is being very coy about the change.

"I've said it before and I will say it again, we have a good unit, a good team from the mechanics to the hospitality. It's a really good package and it is a pleasure to be here. Obviously this year we have had some issues with what we have out on track but we're hoping to rectify that next year," said Edwards, speaking at Misano.

"We want a package we can move forward with and perform with, and someone that wants to work with us - that's what we're shooting for. Next year, we don't know, it's still kind of top secret. There's a couple of things stirring around in the pot that we need to sift through and see what the best option is."
