Raul Fernandez topped the timesheets despite not being given anything new by Aprilia for the Valencia MotoGP Test.
After completing his day of testing at Valencia, Raul Fernandez confirmed that he had nothing new from Aprilia to test on Tuesday.
Coming off the back of a second-place finish in the Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday, the MotoGP riders were back on track on Tuesday for the start of the 2026 pre-season for the Valencia Test.
Although Aprilia provided a new aerodynamic package for their factory riders, Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin. However, Trackhouse Racing and Raul Fernandez did not have any new parts for the Valencia Test, as the Spaniard remained on the bike he rode at the Valencia Grand Prix.
"This is not really important; we have a lot of data from the GP," Fernandez told the MotoGP World Feed.
"Today we did a lot of work with electronics, we did not test anything new with our package in terms of aero package, chassis or engine. We tried to improve our package, and I am happy.
"After the last part of the season, I am quite tired, I need to rest well, and be back stronger. I am happy to be at the top of the test, but in Sepang everything will start from zero, and it will be a new season."
When asked if he made any improvements to his 2025 package, Fernandez revealed he is not taking the 'test as a reference' as everything will change at Sepang.
"Not really, maybe because we have spent a lot of time here, we did a lot of laps on the weekend," he explained.
"We cannot take the test as a reference, we had some things, but the factory had some new things to try. We will have to see what they say, after that we will see what Aprilia bring for us in Sepang."
