Spanish rider, Adrian Fernandez, has been linked with MLav Racing for the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
Adrian Fernandez has established himself as a front-running Moto3 rider across his five years in the Grand Prix paddock and has raced for some of the top teams in the class.
However, it has been reported that the Spaniard may be in discussions to leave Leopard Racing at the end of the 2025 season and join MLav Racing.
During his two and a half seasons with Leopard Racing, Fernandez has secured six podium finishes and a pole position, but his first Grand Prix win has eluded him.
The 21-year-old is currently seventh in the 2025 Moto3 World Championship and has secured three podiums throughout the 14 races that he has competed in this season.
At the San Marino Grand Prix, where the rumour was first discussed on the MotoGP World Feed, Fernandez finished in third place, behind Jose Antonio Rueda and Maximo Quiles.
"Let's try and look at the glass half full for MLav," Matt Birt said on MotoGP's World Feed during the Moto3 race at Misano.
"They have picked up a couple of really experienced riders for next year in Adrian Fernandez and Joel Kelso. But deary me, it has been a really tough weekend for them here in Misano."
If Fernandez did join MLav Racing, he would partner with Joel Kelso in the British-run team, as the Australian rider has already been announced for Michael Laverty's Moto3 squad.
However, since the MotoGP World Feed discusses Fernandez and MLav Racing, multiple employees at the British team have stated on social media that the second seat is still available. Meaning Fernandez has not signed with the team, but his name has now been associated with the team for a shock move.
