BBC's MotoGP front-person Suzi Perry says she is recovering well after her collapse a couple of weeks ago but will not be in attendance at the opening Qatar MotoGP round.
Suzi suffered a miscarriage after an ectopic pregnancy while on the set of Five's The Gadget Show and she will also miss filming of that as she gets her strength back.
"Physically I am getting stronger each day, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I am finding recovery frustratingly slow. However I have learned the hard way; too much too soon and I am back in bed for a couple of days," said Suzi.
"I wanted and hoped that I would be well enough to present the first MotoGP race of the season in Qatar which airs on 11th April. Unfortunately though it looks as though I will have to take a rain check and leave it to the boys.
"I simply won’t be strong enough or have enough energy and it may send me backwards so I will start the season in Jerez on the weekend of 2nd May but will be following the action avidly until that moment. The 3rd of May is sure to be a good day though, it's my birthday and I will be thrilled to be back on the grid."
