Team HRC’s former champ Tim Gajser goes into this weekend’s MXGP of Trentino in Pietramurata – round four of the world championship – looking to re-establish himself as a major force in global motocross.
The Slovenian, who sat out the opening round of the series in Argentina while he recovered from a broken jaw, lies 11th in the points table and is counting on his travelling army of supporters making the journey to northern Italy.
“I’m looking forward to Arco because it’s one of the closest GPs to home so a lot of fans will be there from Slovenia to support me,” he says. “It’s surely going to be a special event for me so I cannot wait to get started.”
“I trained very hard after Redsand in order to show up in Italy in the best possible condition. The goal will be to be quick and consistent in order to get in the mix at the sharp end of the field and score two strong results.”
